Whether your New Year resolution has waned or is still going strong, any moment in time can be the start of a new approach, a fresh determination. For almost everyone I know, that includes eating more healthfully. At the Green Granary, we will be supporting that goal in 3 ways: through education (Community Events), Hands-on classes, and the offering of delicious, organic food in our cafe.

The Community Health Events will be focused on different food philosophies to heal your body and establish a foundation for health. One thing that is agreed by all, is that the body, mind and spirit are intertwined ( we all know the imprint that stress leaves on our bodies…) These co-sponsored events will offer methods to support all. Our next event will be Tuesday, February 18th with Ken Hoffman from Sophia Natural Health. Ken will teach the benefits of the Chinese approach to good health. Lecture is free, please reserve ahead.

Hands On Classes- “Give a man a fish and he eats for a day, teach a man to fish, and he eats for a lifetime.” For many people, eating better begins with broadening our knowledge and skills in the kitchen and that can be a daunting task. Investing in a cooking class, teaches you a skill for life. Our next class will be Friday, February 21st with the amazingly talented Tal Pease. Tal will be teaching how to make your own Kombucha. You will learn the history, the health benefits and the “how to”. Every person will leave with their own freshly bottled batch! $50/includes all materials. Please reserve ahead.

The Cafe- We will continue to raise the bar for the healthiest sourcing of ingredients to prepare a seasonal variety of delicious food. We can also provide customized meals for your home to accommodate your schedule and needs.

When I started the Green Granary, I had a calling to serve. As we take small steps this year to advance in our mission to serve you, please take a moment and share with us, what you would like to see. Email us here at: Info@greengranary.com.

Enjoy this beautiful week!.

Sincerely,

Sandra and the Green Granary Staff.
